Product Description
Something a little different! Inspired by the beautiful Kazak designs originating in the Caucasian mountains, this throw captures some of the motifs and rich colours commonly found in this intricate, decorative style of hand-woven woollen rug. It brings to mind flying carpets, and the magic and mysticism of Eastern folklore. The Stylecraft shades specified have been carefully chosen to match the real thing as closely as possible, and will give the most authentic result. Different palettes and yarn weights can of course be substituted, using the appropriate hooks.
The pattern is comprised of an introduction and five numbered sections, and is clearly written with detailed explanations, tips and hints to help you along the way. It is a fairly complex design and repays very careful attention to stitch counts etc - it definitely needs concentration! There are step-by-step photographic illustrations throughout, so you can check your work as you go.
