I would give this wool a higher score if it was possible ...one of my great granddaughters simply adores anything I make with this..even when she is really growing out of the size made. such a joy to knit up, and, knowing that it will be worn with such love is so rewarding of the effort. My only concern is keeping the stitches on the needles , it's that soft... but using wooden knitting needles helps.
I love working with this yarn and have made many items with it. Quality product which makes a lovely Fair Isle effect on hats, sweaters waistcoats and jackets.Will be happy when this package finally arrives.
I have used this wool for baby knits in the past. It is beautifully soft and I love the way it knits up. The Crofter DK original is no longer available so I checked the metres per 50 gms for the Baby Crofter and bought an extra just in case. It feels softer than my original Crofter DK jumper. Recommended.
