Add a little vintage charm to your wardrobe with this quick to knit sleeveless vest style jumper. Adapted from a handwritten pattern found among my late grandmother’s things, the sample shown is knitted in vintage Patons Lambswool yarn, with the alternative neckband shown noted at the end of the pattern. Patons Lambswool is no longer available but knits up to a modern 8ply (DK weight) yarn) to the measurements specified in the original handwritten vintage pattern. The finished garment once gently washed and blocked has approximately 2.5 inches (6cm) of ease when knitted to the tension noted and will easily fit chest measurement of 36- 40 inches (90-104 cm).
