Simple Joy - Sport/DK Hat

There is a time in every knitter’s knitting life when they just want to use their favorite yarn and their favorite needle and simply enjoy the process. It brings with it an inner calm and joy that allows the body to rest and the mind to be open to possibilities.

Sport/DK weight yarn: 100-200yds. Knitting needle: US5/3.75mm 16 inch circular needle. (You can use dpns, or a circular for magic loop or 2 circs when working the crown.) Gauge: 6 sts/ inch in stitch pattern, blocked.

Sizes: Baby, Child, Adult S, Adult M, Adult L. This pattern has a great deal of stretch and will fit a large range in each given size. Baby: 13-15 inches Child: 16-19 inches Adult S: 18-20 inches Adult M: 20-22 inches Adult L: 22-24 inches
