Silversmith

A soft, unstructured, scarf-like edging frames Silversmith, a wear-everywhere open-front cardigan. Knit seamlessly from the top down, it’s as fun and simple to knit as it is to wear.

• Sport or fingering weight yarn is recommended for this design. The collar and edging will appear fuller with sport weight yarn and more delicate with fingering weight yarn.
• Please note that yarn substitutions may result in changes to yardage requirements and how the design appears after finishing and blocking.
• Depending on your knitting style and yarn choice, you may require smaller or larger needles to meet gauge. It is always recommended that you knit and block a gauge swatch before you begin.
• Sample shown is size 34. To fit wearer’s petite frame, sleeves and body were knit 2.5” shorter than directions specify. It is not designed as a maternity sweater, although, as you can see, it works!
