Shrug starts at center back with a provisional cast on and worked sideways to sleeve cuff/bind off. Second sleeve is worked the same after picking up provisional cast on. Back and sleeve pattern are worked from a chart with written instructions for cuffs only. Pattern includes detailed instructions for working from a chart. Back and arm length will depend on underarm seaming. Sleeve length can be shortened by working less cuff ribbing and or omitting rows on final chart. An experienced knitter will have no problem adjusting pattern size.

To seam shrug, begin at cuff and sew up arm side seams to underarm comfort, leaving key hole for thumb if desired.

This beauty can also be worn as a scarf.
