Septimus the Rainbow Snake Amigurumi

Say hello to Septimus, he might look a bit scary but he is a very loyal friend and will guard all of your doors! He is a rainbow coloured snake with sharp fangs and a long forked tongue.

Two options are available within the pattern, a wiggly version and a straight version, which is great as a draught excluder for a door.

This pattern is written in US crochet notation and is an advanced beginner pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required.

Using the materials suggested this snake measures 82cm (32.25 inches) for the wiggle and 92cm (36.25 inches) for the straight. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate sized crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished snake. Suggested materials: DK (8ply) 100% cotton yarn, 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and 18mm cat eye safety eyes.
