Seal Kids Sweater

A pullover for children ranging from newborns to 12 years old. For a special finishing touch, you can embroider a sweet motif onto the finished sweater using the duplicate stitch technique.

The pattern includes separate, clear instructions for each of the 15 sizes: simply choose the size you need and knit row by row without getting confused by the details. Each size consists of 3 pages of PDF text. Useful tables: estimated yarn requirements and finished garment measurements.

The swatch is knitted using Drops Merino Extra Fine yarn (DK). You can use any yarn that gives a similar result in gauge.

Gauge: 21 sts × 28 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 inches) in stockinette stitch using 3.75 mm needles.

Needles circular: 3.25 mm (US 3) and 3.75 mm (US 5) - 40 and 60 cm (14 and 24 inches) or double-pointed needles. Use whichever needles you find comfortable for knitting in the round.
