Scotty - Babies 8ply striped ridged beanie

This 8ply baby Beanie has a garter stitch brim and is then worked in a combination of stocking stitch and garter stitch stripes. This cute, unisex design is also available in 4ply (see my Danny pattern).

Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-12) months.

To fit head: 35 (40-45-48) cm [13¾ (15¾-17¾-19) ins].

Yarn required: Rial Filati, Merino Soft 8ply, 50g balls@125m.

1 (1-1-1) ball Main Colour (MC)

1 (1-1-1) ball Contrast Colour (CC)

Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm [UK 8, US 6] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
