Scarecrow

Scarecrow is knit in the round, using Magic Loop or double pointed needles. The legs, body, arms and head are all knit on as you work along, and is approx. 10” (sitting). Scarecrow is created using #4-Worsted Wt. (Aran/10-ply) yarn: Body & “Hay” (190 yds. Red Heart Super Saver-Cornmeal), Jacket (130 yds. Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice-Terracotta), Pants (120 yds. Big Twist-Navy Blue Denim), Hat (70 yds. Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice-Toffee), Shoes (50 yds. Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice-Toffee). This darling scarecrow sits freely and would be a wonderful decoration for fall!

· Size 4 (3.5mm) 32” Circular Knitting Needles (if using Magic Loop) or Double Pointed Needles (for Body & Shoes)

· Size 6 (4.0mm) 32” Circular Knitting Needles (if using Magic Loop) or Double Pointed Needles (for Clothes & Hat)

· Safety Eyes: 12mm or embroidery thread/yarn

· 2 Buttons (3/8”-1/2”)

· Crochet Hook (for attaching pieces of “hay”)
