Sandy the seal loves living in the seas around Pembrokeshire with her new pup, teaching pup to fish and how to pinch fish from the local fishermen - if you’re ever on a boat trip in the area keep an eye out, they might pop up to say hello (they’re quite nosey). She is 14 inches long and her pup is 8 inches long (when made with recommended materials).
The pattern uses US terminology (UK terminology is also available as a separate listing) and can be downloaded after purchase. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for back loop only and adding whiskers. I have made Sandy and her pup using Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK (DK weight yarn) - details in pattern
