The design accompanying this tile is a diamond oriented cushion cover. You have the option to make the cushion entirely out of squares, which you can join through one of my suggested methods or in any other way you prefer. You can also make use of the triangle pattern to then use a zipper or buttons for closing, allowing you to wash your cover regularly.

Gauge:

Gauge is not crucial for this pattern, as long as your tile lies flat. However, different yarns give different gauges:

Crochet thread: 13sc x 12 rows = 5cm / 2”.

Fingering weight: 11sc x 11 rows = 5cm / 2”.

DK weight: 10sc x 10 rows = 5cm / 2”.

Aran weight: 8sc x 8 rows = 5cm / 2”.

Hooks:

√ Depending on yarn choice, 2.5mm/C, 3.5mm/E-4, 4mm/G-6 or 5mm/H-8 crochet hook (Adapt hook to yarn used).
