Royal Baby Hat and Mitts-Archie

Here is a simple little pattern for the hat baby Archie Harrison wore when he was introduced to the world by his parents The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He looked beautiful in this unfussy and modern take on the baby bonnet. The original was purchased from a famous London firm and included a tiny pair of thumbless mittens. I don't know if Baby Sussex was wearing the mittens in the photographs because his hands weren't visible, but I've included a pattern for them as well.

This is an easy knit suitable for a beginner who has some experience knitting in the round, or who would like to learn.
