Royal Baby Cardigan

I designed this simple little cardigan to match my Royal Baby Bonnets, “Louis” and “Charlotte”. It’s knit from the top down with little mock cable details down the front and sleeves. I used sport weight yarn and US size 2 needles. The newborn size cardigan is 7.5 inches long from collar to hem and is 16 inches around the chest. The 3-6 month version is 8.5 inches long and 18 inches around the chest. Using larger yarn and needles will yield a larger sweater. The pattern includes two versions, one in garter stitch and one in stockinette.
