Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted

Knitting socks that are over the knee for Autumn and Winter. Finding a book of designs that this yarn filled the requirements and the stitch definition is exacting along with the colours. The design is called the Snow Queen so I wanted the colours in the design signifying frost and ethereal fantasy of this much loved childhood story read Many times and this wool plates the part by wash and wear with stretch and comfort. Buying more for gifting this year. First class

Does what it says on the label. Super wash again and again. O. The kneedles this yarn glides. Stitch definition wonderful. I chose this yarn due to Rowan reputation and descriptions of stitch definition. No disappointment there. A gift for a grown up daughter made even more special. The intarsia is fantastic. Beautiful job due to Yarn. I’m ordering more now as I knitted one pair but it was a test for gifting. So professional looking and impressive pair of long socks.

Gorgeous colour, texture and quality. Great to work with (crocheting a granny squares blanket). Definitely recommended.

This yarn was perfect for the zip up cardigan I knitted my adult son, light but kept its shape for the cable pattern, also very soft and good choice of colours

It makes me happy my sister is happy the shop she got the original wool closed down and she was short of wool to finish jumper she is like me not savy on the internet but managed to fine the wool she needed and a very good match on the dye lol you really can’t tell

I have used this Rowan wool before and it knits up beautifully, with good stitch definition. It has a lovely woolly feel and smell. You can’t fake real wool.

I bought the grey and white to make a tree cushion and it knits up just perfectly no defects and feels soft but hard wearing
