Product Description
2 Patterns included - one is in US crochet terms and one in British crochet terms. As it is very difficult to see stitches in dark colors, the pattern is made using a light color yarn. Medium Worsted Weight yarn is required Aran Weight for Britain, 10 Ply for Australia and a 4 mm Crochet Hook US G / 6, Britain 8. A simple technique for the crown is used that will ensure a nice strong flat top which Riding Hats normally have. There are lots of photos to guide you. The pattern requires SC and FPSC Front Post Single Crochet, fully explained for those that do not know how and would like to learn. Please see the video on my Youtube channel to see how to FPSC. A tighter stitch is also required.
The pattern is written in English one using standard American terms another using British terms using Yarn Industry Standard Abbreviations such as INC for increase, DEC for decrease. If you need help, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to help.
