Ribbed Bobble Winter Hat

Easy, super cosy winter hat that you can make unique to you with stripes, edging or blocks of colour. Lots of images for inspiration

Instructions provided for either 'Knitting in the round' or 'knitted flat' - you decide - patterns given for both knitting methods

To make one hat you will need

200g of a soft super chunky wool

or for more than one colour hat 150g of one colour and 50g of another (for striped versions you should get 150g of each to ensure you have enough)

and either

10mm circular needles (60cm cable) for knitting in the round

or

pair of 10mm straight needles for knitting flat

Large sewing up needle

Pattern should work okay with any soft super chunky/super bulky yarn

Knitting skills required: Cast on, knit, purl, K2tog
