If you are using a different yarn, after you have finished crocheting the front side of the pillowcase, measure it, and then it will fit a pillow insert that is one to two inches longer than it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAdditionally, you will need an 18 by 18 in (46 by 46 cm) pillow insert, and 5 buttons (1.5 cm in diameter). The buttons allow the pillowcase to be taken on and off the insert. The pattern includes some pictures to demonstrate the steps.
