Reed Shawl

Reed shawl begins with a small cast on and is increased on one side into an asymmetric triangular shape. It uses garter and eyelets for the body of the shawl. The rows of cross stitches along the border and the twisted fringe bindoff reminds me of the criss-cross patterns made by tall reed stems alongside lakes and streams.

SIZING: One Size (Adaptable) Reed Shawl is designed to be knit with one skein of fingering weight yarn. But if desired, it can be made larger, for which directions are included in the pattern, throughout.
