After losing 65 pounds, I couldn't wear my knee length Mango Moon coat so I ripped the yarn and made 4 floor rugs. I found the rugs slippery on my hardwood floors, so I backed them with non-skid matting (cut from a large piece bought at Target) which I just basted around the outside and tacked about every 4 inches. It is stretchy so the backing helps it hold its shape too.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI double the yarn and use large size 15 needles. You can make a beautiful and less expensive version with the solid color silk colors too (or use one of each).
