This is a fantastic knitting pattern for both new and experienced knitters, as long as you can cast on and off and knit you can certainly make these beautifully shaped booties and slippers.
The samples were knit in Debbie Bliss Pure Silk (now discontinued). A substitute yarn is shown below.
