Rainbow of Hearts Blanket

Here is the crochet pattern for my Rainbow of Hearts Crochet Blanket design.

Made using Stylecraft Special DK but any alternative yarn (including worsted weight, 4ply etc) would work just as well with the relevant hook size.

A heart motif is at the centre of each square, each heart is framed in its matching colour and the blanket is bordered with a complete rainbow made using all of the colours of your blanket.

The pictured blanket measures approximately 24” by 28” but you can, of course, adjust this by making more or less squares to meet your requirements.

Stitches used are dc, htr, tr, dtr, ttr, back-post, sl st (UK terms) sc, hdc, dc, tr, dtr, back-post, sl st (US terms). With photos of where to place certain squaring off stitches to help in the making of this design.

A bright, bold and colourful baby blanket which can be made into a throw or afghan by adding more squares.
