Product Description
Knit your own cuddly pumpkin heads (5” tall and 6” wide). This pumpkin head is easy to make and would be a great Halloween gift, decoration or party favor.
For an ADVANCED BEGINNER knitter. The pumpkin is mostly knitted flat on straight needles using short row shaping (fully explained in the pattern). The stalk is knitted in the round on dpns. There is only one sewn seam.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Garter (knit) Stitch; short row shaping (explained in pattern); Knitting in the round on dpns; Some basic embroidery
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Approx 60 yards orange worsted weight yarn); Approx 4 yards green worsted yarn; US size 5 (3.75 mm) needles; US size 5 (3.75 mm) dpns Scrap of brown yarn for face; 2 buttons; Fiberfill; Tapestry needle
