Product Description
This shawl pays homage to my paternal homeland; the lands of Scorrybreac outside of Portree on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It is delicate, romantic and airy; whimsical and vintage inspired. The linear nature of the lace pattern catches the eye as it flows through the shawl's body. This is a simple to knit lace that quickly becomes intuitive.
This is a classic triangle shaped shawl. It begins with a garter tab and uses yarn overs to increase the body and wing span. Increases are only worked on the Right Side. It is knit from the top down ending with a mesh lace border.
Instructions are both charted and written.
