Peyton - Child’s 8ply V neck raglan jumper in two colours

This child’s V neck raglan jumper, with rib bands, is worked in two colours. It is very easy to knit, with the colours used bringing the ‘wow’ factor to the design. I used bright, happy colours but it will look equally striking in a black-grey or navy-light blue combination.

Pattern sizes: 2 (4-6-8) years.

To fit chest: 55 (60-65-70) cm [21¾ (23½-25½-27½) ins].

Actual measurement: 63 (69-74-79) cm [25 (27-29-31) ins].

Length: 40 (44-48-52) cm [15¾ (17¼-19-20½) ins].

Yarn required: Spotlight Marvel 8ply, 100g balls@270m.

1 (2-2-2) balls 1st Colour (C1).

1 (2-2-2) balls 2nd Colour (C2).

Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm [UK 8, US 6] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing up.

Other requirements: 3 stitch holders; a safety pin.

Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
