She could open doorknobs with her paws, she was frightenened silly of thunderstorms, took socks off your feet for you, got quilled (is that a word?) by a porcupine in the muzzle and radiated elegance even after she was diagnosed with an illness that took her from me in just a few days.    I miss her, my family misses her and most of all, our other dog just hasn’t been the same.
