The Paint Mines Hat is an easy-to-loom hat and make a great gift for any man or woman on your Christmas list. You'll like it so much, you'll end up making one for yourself too! This hat is loom knit on Knitting Board’s Flexee Loom Links Regular (1/2” gauge) using 60 pegs in the round and approximately 80 yards of a bulky or super bulky weight yarn. Northland Cavern [6] super bulky yarn, 70% acrylic/30% wool, was used in the sample. The pattern does include instructions if you wish to use a worsted weight yarn instead. Worsted weight yarn requires the Flexee Loom Links Skinny (3/8" gauge). This pattern is suitable for a confident, beginner loom knitter. The pattern uses stitches you already know: e-wrap knit, u-knit, purl; and will also teach you the slip stitch.
