To create the plaid look requires 3 colors of yarn

The stitch that I chose to create this pattern gives the P. Ridge Beanie an incredible thermal appearance. The P. Ridge Beanie can be made in the plaid as shown or in a solid color, it is gorgeous either way.

Do not let this pattern intimidate you, it is so easy to make a caveman could do it. I put off creating anything plaid for the longest time, because I was intimidated by it, but it is so much easier that I believed. And FUN!!! I loved every crochet minute of it! I think you will too.

Yardage depends on size but requires approximately 90 yards for the 0-3 month size, 140 yards for the child, and 250 yards for the XXL.

This is a great stashbuster for left over yarn!
