These cute Owls are real fans of napping on your shelf or on your pillow at daytime and guarding your bedroom at night.
This pattern gives instructions for four different models of owls, eyes and feet and two sets of wings. All is knit in the round with wings, feet and eyes knit separately and sewn on later. This is an easy pattern which uses basic increases and decreases, knit in the rounds and Kitchener stitch to sew up the head. The gauge is not important for these patterns, but, as with all toys, you should use needles one size smaller than indicated on the yarn to prevent the fiberfill from showing.
The finished owls range from 10cm to 20cm when made from cotton DK yarn and needles size 2.5-3mm.
