Product Description
Owl mitts - mittens with a cute owl on the back of each one. These are fun to knit with effective results. I've knitted these to sell in the past, so it is a well practised pattern and I've tweeked it again and again to get it perfect.
Knitted with Stylecraft Life Chunky but any chunky yarn could be used - I have even used sparkly yarn and a host of colours.
5 sizes from age 2yrs to large adult. The 2 adult sizes are given first, followed by separate patterns for the 3 children's sizes. There are also instructions on how to lengthen the mitts if needed and how to knit the owl a different colour, using the Intarsia technique.
The pattern is written in English with British and American terms throughout. Basic knitting skills needed and how to do simple cable - very easy. Full line by line instructions given, with numbered rows. Knitted on 2 needles, and sewn up.
