Product Description
This cropped, oversized boxy style top is perfect to just throw on or layering over a dress. Worked top down and inside out, the shirt is primarily worked in knit stitches. Only in the end it is turned to the right side, showing the reverse Stockinette Stitch and the simple slipped stitch pattern on the sides. I-cord edges on the body and neckline are added at the end on the right side of the garment. On the flip side is designed with a positive ease of around 30” {75cm} and instructions come in 11 sizes. Choose your size depending on how much positive ease you want. It is suggested to choose a cotton/linen blend yarn to give the top a bit of weight.
Techniques Knitting, purling, slipping sts, knitting/purling through the back loop, picking up sts, provisional cast on, decreases, increases, i-cord bind off.
Gauge 21 sts & 33 rds=4” {10cm} blocked, knitted in the round in Stockinette stitch.
