The design accompanying the Ohsan tile is functional. I really do love to use my crochet works and not let them idly lay around. So Ohsan became a pencil case, or a crochet hook case, or a cotton buds case… you see the point. All the things we can do with tubular crocheted cases! Gauge:
Gauge is not crucial for this pattern, as long as your tile lies flat. However, different yarns give different gauges:
DK weight: 9sc x 8 rows = 5cm / 2”.
Aran weight: 8sc x 8 rows = 5cm / 2”.
Hooks:
√ Depending on yarn choice, 3.5mm/E-6 or 5mm/H-8 crochet hook (Adapt hook to yarn used).
Notions
√ Tapestry needle, stitch markers.
√ Zip-fastener (15cm/6” for DK weight case and 18cm/7” for Aran weight case).
√ Optional: fabric for liner
