Therefore, when my friend Waltraud suggested “Nordseeliebe” (North Sea Love) as a name for these mitts, it fit perfectly! The mitts are crocheted using slip sttiches. You can wear them higher or lower; each of the hearts in the cable works as a thumb hole.
