Product Description
Nicolas sweater is knit in 1 piece, top-down in the round. It features a raised back, and extensive textures and cabled patterning.
This tutorial gives you detailed step-by-step instructions for the whole process, including written instructions, charts (optional), photo- and video-tutorials.
Yarn: DK weight (180-220m/200-240yds per 100g/3.5oz), can be cotton, merino, or any other fiber that would give you the right gauge, you can also double-, or even triple-strand different yarns, combine with lace-mohair, etc.
Needles:
4.5mm/US 7 circulars on 60-80cm/24-32” cable for the main body;
3.5mm/US 4 circulars on 40cm/16” cable for the sleeves and the neckband.
Gauge: 17 stitches per 10 cm/4” in stockinette after blocking.
