The sample gloves are worked in Shibui Staccato, a fingering weight wool-silk blend with a luxurious feel. The “newsprint” colorwork patterning is fully charted.

One size - 7¾” around x 8½” long

– Main Color (light) – 150 yds fingering wt

• Contrast Color (dark) – 60 yds fingering wt (as shown: Shibui Staccato, 70%wool, 30% silk: .7 skein –color 101 Ivory; .3 skein – color 11 Tar) Needles – Size US 2 (2.75mm) set of double points

For best results, it is advisable to make the main color dominant in this colorwork pattern. That is, if you use both hands in working 2 colors, hold the ivory (MC) in your left hand.
