Product Description
The Nelly Fairisle Cowl was a very popular project for 3 of my workshops this year. This lovely cowl is a great introduction to fairisle knitting and a great practice piece prior to knitting more complicated fairisle. The cowl is knitted in the round and the top and bottom edges are joined using mattress stitch to create the cowl shape.
Only small amounts of yarn are needed to knit the cowl. The actual usage plus 10% is as follows:
Scree 165 - 33g, Peony 183 - 9g, Ancient 172 - 15g, Boulder 195 - 14g, Camel 157 - 21g, Cumin 193 - 9g, Ginger 154 - 8g, Amethyst 192 - 11g, Delft 194 - 11g, Cinnamon 175 - 11g.
