Nelephant the Elephant Potholder

This is an original pattern for a colourful crocheted double thickness potholder with a majestic elephant on the front. The reverse is plain red, and both thicknesses are joined by a double row of crochet in green.

I have recommended 100% cotton yarn, making it safe to stand warm dishes on, and to protect your hands from burns. Measures 8" x 7.5" (20cm x 19cm)) plus the hanging loop at the top.

The potholder takes less than 100 gr of yarn intotal and the stitches used are slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and triple crochet. Instructions for all stitches are included in the pattern.
