Product Description
Stripes, what fun! An easy-to-knit hat in fingering weight yarn, which gives you lots of possibilities to use your own favorite colors.
Difficulty level: easy (knit and purl, working in the round on DPNs or circular needles)
Yarn: Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash 75/25 (75% wool, 25% nylon; 209m/50g; 229yds/1.76oz), 1 skein of each color. Sample in adult size used 88m (96yds) of color 1 (red) and 113m (123yds) of color 2 (white).
Needles: 3.5mm/US 4 set of 5 DPNs or circular needles
Notions: yarn needle, 1 stitch marker (optional, only needed when using circular needles)
Gauge: 27 stitches/42 rows in stitch pattern (unstretched) = 10cm/4in.
Sizes: child and adult medium, 40, 45cm (16, 18in) circumference; 17, 20cm (6 3/4, 8in) in length. The stitch pattern is stretchy.
