Mosedott

This jacket is worked in Cascade Fingering. It is a wool jacket, but very light and pleasant to wear.

Suggestions: Frustration can be avoided by reading through the entire pattern before starting. The jacket is worked top-down, the yoke first. After finishing the yoke, keep the sleeve sts on a st holder (extra circular needles works well as stitch holders) as you work the body. The jacket is worked in the round and 6 steek stitches are worked in the front throughout. These 6 stitches are not included in any of the charts. For steeking, you will need a sewing machine. The pattern has instructions on how to sew and cut.

To avoid long floats at the wrong side when working in stranded pattern, catch the float after every 3rd st. Avoid doing this at the same place on the row, two rows above each other, it could show on the right side. Stretch the right hand stitches every now and then for a nice stretchy fabric, rather than a too tight knit.
