'More is More' Crochet cushions

When i started designing this pair of crochet cushions I very much had in mind that they would be perfect to brighten up my garden furniture with their bright, crisp cotton look - and indeed they do that job perfectly, but when i was taking photographs for this pattern I realised they looked just as good inside. Without a doubt they fit the maximalist brief and more is definately more!

The cushion pattern is perfect for all crochet abilities as the only stitches used are dc, tr and chain ( UK terms). The square cushion cover is made from three pieces , one for the front and two for the back, making an envelope opening and the rectangular cover is worked in one piece and simply folded to create a cover with an opening on the back.

I used RICO DESIGN ESSENTIALS COTTON for mine as I loved all the bright colour options available, Its a DK weight yarn and any DK yarn would work equally well.
