*MONDAY'S CHILD* baby blanket, or shawl, is an easy to knit, easy to follow pattern. There are photos included for guidance if needed. I have written it as clearly as I can and it's set out in a horizontal format and not in columns, which personally I find very annoying.
The centre square is knitted first and the sides are added one at a time by picking up stitches.
You can knit this blanket/shawl in double knit yarn or, as I have here, in baby soft Aran yarn. The size will vary slightly but the pattern remains exactly the same for either yarn.
Finished size is approx 32x32ins/82x82cms for the Aran and 30x30ins/77x77cms if using double knit.
