Mini Star Trek Chickens

Cute little chickens in Starfleet uniforms. They make great key rings with DK/worsted yarn and 3mm hooks. Or easily size up with thicker yarn and bigger hooks.

Advanced beginner and no sew; just attaching yarn for surface crochet, adding the eyes and the comm badge/insignia. They work up in a few hours.

You'll need embroidery floss in gold (or dark yellow) and silver (or pale grey) for the comm badge. Yarn colours are based on the Star Fleet uniforms (red, gold, and blue), and whatever colour you want for the chicken's body (brown, yellow, green, blue...). Black for the eyes, unless you have a character with a specific eye colour, like Data and Lore, or Hemmer.
