Millwater is a nearly-reversible cowl/infinity scarf with generous proportions (that allow it to be doubled up for extra coziness), and featuring a super-squishy, ribbed, reversible cable — set asymmetrically against a garter stitch background.
The three-page pattern includes written instructions, full-color photos and detailed descriptions of all the required techniques.

Alternatively, Plucky Knitter Primo! Worsted weight yarn is recommended as a substitute for a squishier fabric, requiring 2.25–2.5 skeins.
Needles and Tools: The pattern requires one pair of US size 8 (5mm) needles (straight or circular, minimum 24 inches for circular), plus one additional US 8 (5mm) needle for the three-needle bind-off. Additional tools include a cable needle or spare double-pointed needle, a crochet hook in size H/8 (5mm) for the provisional cast-on, several yards of smooth waste yarn approximately the same weight as the main yarn, and 2 stitch markers.
Gauge
The pattern is worked to a gauge of 5 stitches and 8 rows to the inch in garter stitch, measured on knit flat, unblocked fabric. Achieving proper gauge is essential for obtaining the correct finished measurements of 50 inches in circumference and 8.5 inches in width.
