This is a pattern for a super bulky weight beanie knit in the round and using the stranded colourwork technique.

100% Alpaca yarn is not elastic. You may find the smaller needle works better for the rib to achieve a tighter fitting beanie, if you are working with 100% Alpaca yarn. But you may work this pattern with any number of yarns held together to achieve gauge OR super bulky yarn!
