Medieval Mail Hat

The Medieval Mail Hat was designed with guys in mind. It has some new to me stitch combinations that make for a great texture! Sport weight yarn makes the hat lighter in weight but still is warm and comfortable for anyone to wear at any time! This hat is versatile and can be made slouchier or more fitted depending on how you fold the brim.

This pattern uses sport weight yarn and an H hook. I used 1 skein of the sport weight yarn for one hat. Stitches: half double crochet Back loop forward half double crochet stitch. Instructions for this stitch are included in the pattern.
