Medical Staff Symbol overlay mosaic rectangle

This features a popular Medical Staff with stylized snakes wrapped around it, which can be used for projects such asl wall hangings, tote bags, table runners (repeated a few times), or used as a panel in a block afghan. Great gift ideas for first responders or others in the medical field!

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I generally like using medium yarn weight of #4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a rectangle of approximately 14.5” x 16.5”.

You will need 2 colors of yarn - approximately 150 yds of the background color & another 125 yds for the medical emblem, if using medium weight #4 yarn and a 5.5 mm hook.
