Mandala Ornament

Make your own crochet Christmas ornaments to hang on the tree, give as gifts or sell! A quick easy craft project perfect for winter time. This 2 color crochet snowflake ornament is inspired by a mandala design - it looks festive and striking worked up in 2 colors - my favorite is red and white - but you could also make them all white for a more subtle textural aesthetic. worked from the center out in just 4 simple rounds, these come together quickly and make great ornaments, stocking stuffers, components for a garland, or tuck them inside your holiday cards for a fun surprise! They measure just over 3" in diameter and can be made with any sport to dk weight yarn, a cotton/acrylic blend yarn seems to yield the best results. Use a smaller hook than what is suggested for your yarn to keep the tension fairly tight. Ready to go right off the hook, no need to starch them to keep their shape.
