This blanket is entirely inspired by my husband Dan. Dan passed away in February 2026 after a short but brutal battle with cancer. I really wanted to have a project to work on that would bring me comfort and be a lasting reminder of him.
I chose colours that linked to Dan personally, and yarn that would have made him smile.
The word 'ripple' has so many links to Dan that I knew I had to use a stitch inspired by it. I hope you enjoy creating your own ripples.
