The distinctive color patterns in each shawl are achieved through slipped stitch colorwork. Lux was originally designed to explore negative space using color and texture but as I was revising the shawl I was inspired by the diffusion of light from incandescent bulbs as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe yellow and green shawl as well as the copper and blue shawl use Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride worsted for the solid.
