Product Description
The Lucina socks are named for the Duke of Burgundy butterfly – Hamearis Lucina. Curves and smooth lines are synonymous with nature but I was looking at inspiration that was more geometric. Many butterflies display checkerboard-like patterns across their wings, and the Duke of Burgundy is a beautiful example. Its intricate markings inspired the design of the Lucina socks, combining textured stitches, garter stripes, and soothing stretches of stocking stitch.
